About Department

It is considered as the novel and unique department in its designation and curricula as compared to other college’s corresponding departments in Iraq and Arab World. Therefore, the characterization of this department , which is showed by its syllabuses, has mainly its features of specialization in the second grade. This can be showed by focusing on electronic management entries and its development as well as the basics of IT technologies and its systems and designing the databases and showing the mechanism of managing it. In addition, it focuses on electronic database design, systems analysis, and software engineering. Also, it aims to enhance the student’s knowledge of the contemporary administration such as: Knowledge Management, Total Quality Management, Management of Innovation and Creativity, and the Digital and Virtual Organizations. The students, in this department, should pass two training phases in the government offices for a month in the second and third stages. As well as, the students in the fourth stage should carry out a research, as an accomplished required for graduation, which is according to the specialization.
